Jiuhuashan Great Wish Cultural Park

- Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva -

Ksiti means the word “earth” or “land,” while the word “garbha” is frequently interpreted as “womb,” it may also mean “matrix” or even “embryo.” Thus, the name Ksitigarbha can refer to meanings including the Womb of Earth, the Matrix of Earth, or Earth Treasury.

Between the death of Sakyamuni Buddha and the ascension of Maitreya Buddha, Ksitigarbha pledged to take responsibility for the upbringing of all beings in the six worlds. He also vowed not to attain Buddhahood until all hells were empty.

- Mount Jiuhua 九華山 -

This is the third sacred Buddhism mountain in China we’ve visited this year. It is known as the residence / bodhimanda of the Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva (Dizang 地藏菩薩 in Chinese).

Ksitigarbha is a bodhisattva and protector of beings in hell realms according to Mahayana Buddhist tradition.

Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva vows to attain the final enlightenment after the hell realm is emptied. With his great vow- “If the Hell is not empty, I shall not attain Buddhahood.”

Guiyi 皈依 🪷

“Guiyi” means: to return (gui 皈) and to rely upon (yi 依).
Guiyi is the commitment to take refuge in the Three Jewels of Buddhism:

Buddha (佛) – the awakened teacher, representing the potential for enlightenment in oneself.
Dharma (法) – the teachings and truths that lead to awakening.
Sangha (僧) – the community of practitioners, both monastic and lay, that preserves and supports the path.
It is often described as “coming home” to a spiritual refuge.

I take refuge in the Buddha. May all beings understand the great Way and awaken the supreme mind.
I take refuge in the Dharma. May all beings deeply enter the sutra treasury and have wisdom vast as the ocean.
I take refuge in the Sangha. May all beings harmonize with the great community and live without obstruction.

As Uranus just entered Gemini yesterday, its crossed into my 9th house, and calling me to further open up to receive the “lightning-like” insights, often times coincide with my many visits to the sacred mountains in China this year.

I consider myself very blessed that I could visit Putuoshan 普陀山 with @technicianofthesacred . To be able to cross the ocean and arrived at the island, and be in the field of Guanyin and commune to Oneness is a sacred gift.

Putuoshan, located in Zhoushan, Zhejiang, China, is a renowned Buddhist mountain and the primary pilgrimage site for Guanyin, the Boddhisatva of Compassion. Putuoshan is considered the bodhimaṇḍa, or place of enlightenment, for Guanyin in Buddhism.

The island is one of China’s four major Buddhist mountains and holds deep cultural and religious significance. As this year continues to unfold, I’m feeling called to visit the other two sacred mountains, namely Mount Jiuhua 九華山 (dedicated to the Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha, also known as Dizang 地藏菩薩 in Chinese) and Mount Wutai 五臺山 (dedicated to Bodhisattva Manjushri 文殊菩薩, the embodiment of wisdom).

I’m looking to visit these two mountains around Autumn time early September and the other around December time if any like minded spirits feel called to join this journey 🙏

Spent the late March Sakura blossom season in Kyoto, wandering around many temples and shrines.

Learning to become more present in every moment, the Tao of emptiness, the grace of Zen Buddha nature.

As summer enclosing we are embarking on another journey to sacred Wudang mountain for martial and mystical arts in 10 days, see you from the majestic China soon.

Been over a month since we left Japan and be back in Bali.
Still reminiscing the spiritual connections and activations we had in Mount Kurama.

Mount Kurama is the birthplace of the Reiki practice, we had a temple priest conducted a ceremony for us, we hugged sacred trees and received water blessing from Kifune Shrine 🐉

First day being back in Ubud Bali, after 77 days of travelling, happens to be the first day of Neptune’s ingress into Aries, right after the potent Aries Solar Eclipse.

Initially feeling quite a lot of resistance coming back, but as soon as I let myself feel Bali’s embrace, as soon as I let my body move, I remember her nourishing, her comfort and guidance, how perfectly symbolic it is to be in her divine flow again right on this day.

Feeling softer, gentler, in stillness and knowing that this is the period of planting the seeds of creation, and we are in the drivers seats of manifesting our dreams into reality. 🦋
